Register Now To Become A Varsity College Student

Varsity College was established in 1991 and is a private higher education provider of the Independent Institute of Education (IIE). Varsity College is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training. The IIE is also recognised internationally by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) and is the only South African institution that carries a BAC accreditation. Varsity college aims to provide students with quality education by guiding students through acquiring the necessary skills to equip them for the revolutionised world.

What is the process for Varsity College registration?

It is important to note that there are a limited number of students accepted to programmes at Varsity College each academic year. For all students registering for a Degree, Diploma or Higher Certificate a non-refundable fee of R400 is required. Any late registrations or applications for degrees will only be considered should space be available and a penalty of R1750 levied. Once payment has been made a student advisor will be in contact with you to complete your application process. Applications for second semester part-time studies for new or returning students are also open and are accepted on a first come basis.

It can be quite overwhelming for students or parents to register online, especially for confidentiality purposes. However, each Varsity College campus has a well-trained team of registration assistants. They will ensure that you are guided through the process of registration and fully equipped for the start of your academic year.

The following documents are required to register:

  1. An original, completed and signed in black ink, Varsity College registration form
  2. A certified copy of your South African ID book or passport
  3. A certified copy of the account payer’s South African ID book or passport
  4. A certified copy of your National Senior Certificate or Statement of Results or equivalent
  5. If you hold a foreign passport, a valid study visa made in the name of The Independent Institute of Education is required prior to the course commencement date.
