The Department of Basic Education aims to increase the number of educators in the country. This is being done through the Funza Lushaka Bursary which provides funding to students wishing to study in the Education field. Here are the programmes the bursary covers.
Bursaries are awarded to individuals who we believe have the commitment to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and an academic record which indicates the ability to do so with due regard to financial need.
In return for the bursary, the student is required to work at EY for the duration of their training contract (a minimum of three years).
Bursaries are ordinarily awarded only to South African citizens or persons with permanent residency permits for South Africa. A limited number of bursaries may be awarded to other non-South African applicants.
Applications for the GrandWest Socio-Economic Development (SED) Bursary Fund 2021 are now open for students from GrandWest partnership schools who wish to pursue a career in tourism and hospitality, entrepreneurship, math, science and technology.
SIOC-cdt is offering bursary opportunities to their local communities in two of its provinces. If you are a matriculant registered to study at a TVET / FET College this is your opportunity to qualify for funding.
